About three months ago I signed up with Recyclebank. I have been testing it out to find out more about how it works, and now I am excited to share this site with you all.
Basically, Recyclebank wants to help us all live a little greener. By watching short (and I mean really short) videos, taking educational quizzes, reading about a green idea and taking a pledge, etc., you can earn Recyclebank points. I cannot stress how easy it is to earn points; their goal is education and inspiration, not making your life anymore stressful.
Once you bank as few as 20 points, you can start redeeming for valuable coupons and prizes. You may redeem points for up to three rewards per month. Just to give you an idea of how points work, I earned right around 200 points this evening for taking the Back to School Challenge. It was a series of point earning opportunities that took less than ten minutes start to finish.
I cashed in my three monthly rewards for the following high value printable coupons: $2/1 Kashi Product, $1/2 Cups Oikos Greek Yogurt, $2/1 Aveno Product (which I'll stack at Target for free lotion). I was even able to hit the back button and print seconds on the Oikos and Aveeno coupons! Each redemption was right around 75 points, so I still have many points left to spare, since this was my first time cashing out.
