How to Use Swag Bucks (Part 4): Swagbucks TV
Swagbucks TV has evolved several times since I started using Swag Bucks back in December 2010. Despite some disappointing changes, it remains a fun way to earn additional Swagbucks.
If you are logged into Swag Bucks, all you need to do is pull down the Earn menu that you should be getting fairly familiar with by now and choose Swagbucks TV. At this point, you'll be at the start page, and you will likely see a Daily Top 10 slide show menu of videos. You can simply click on one of these videos to get started, if it catches your interest.
I usually scan the top of the page where the channel categories are listed. My favorites for earning Swagbucks quickly are the Pets & Nature and Technology channels. You can also choose from Entertainment, News, Fashion & Beauty, Food, Homes & Gardens, and Healthy & Safety. There's a little something for everyone.
Once you select a video to watch, the Swag Bucks Meter in the upper right will start working it's magic. For each video viewed, the meter moves over 10%. In other words, you have to watch 10 videos to be rewarded with 3 Swagbucks.
Note, as soon as you see the meter move, you can start a new video. If you really aren't interested in what you're watching, wait at least until you see the meter move, then go ahead and try something else.
On my favorite channels, most of the videos are less than a minute and a half in length, and the meter typically moves around the 40 second mark. It doesn't take long when I'm sitting around with nothing better to do to rack up the bucks. Also, I like to just let the videos play and listen when I'm doing chores around the house, and I click on a new one as I walk by.
There is a limit on how many Swagbucks you can earn in a single day watching Swagbucks TV, but I have yet to come anywhere near to it. I am not certain, but I believe you can only be rewarded 30 times. If you do the math, that would take some incredible dedication to watching SBTV!
