Hot, Hot, Hot KMart Event Starts Today

I was browsing facebook yesterday and saw on another blog (I apologize I truly don't remember which one) that there MIGHT be a double coupon event starting at Kmart this weekend.  I visited the KMart website, and couldn't find any details regarding the sale or any type of general coupon policy.

Rather than stressing myself out by going to the store and possibly getting any type of runaround, I decided to contact KMart directly.  I did not expect much of a response, as I know how busy national stores can be answering email, but I was quite surprised by their very detailed and helpful reply.  I have pasted it below, so you will now have all of the awesome details and participating Kansas locations : )

By the way, my understanding of the doubling up to $.99 means coupons including $.99 will be doubled.  This means you would get $1.98 off on a $.99 coupon.  Any coupon over $.99 would be accepted only at face value, so $1 off equals $1 off.  I could be wrong, so it wouldn't hurt to ask if you head to KMart, just to be safe.  Woo hoo!!!

The rules for this event are:
1. Manufacturer Coupons will be doubled up to $0.99.
2. Offer dates: 06/19 - 06/25
3. In-store Activation must be tied to Shop Your Way Rewards card.
4. Does not include Kmart Store Coupons

Shop Your Way Rewards Program Details:
1. Customers can sign up in store or online at

2. Shop Your Way Rewards members will earn a minimum of 1% back in
rewards on qualifying purchases at Kmart, Sears, Lands' End at Sears,
Kmart.com, Sears.com and mygofer.com (some Sears format exclusions apply
such as Licensed Business and Home Services).
3. Rewards will be stored on the member?s card and are available for use
within seven days of purchase
4. Members who shop at a Kmart store and scan their membership card at
